Short: Sort Thor Events V2.0 Author: roy@ebrown.demon.co.uk (Roy Brown) Uploader: roy ebrown demon co uk (Roy Brown) Type: comm/thor Version: 2.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos SortEvents V2.0 can only be executed from within Thor. SortEvents V2.0 will sort all active Thor Events into the following order: Email Newsgroup Other (Join, Resign, Retract etc.) Upload Download The Event list is read and displayed to the user. If 'Sort Events' is selected then the Events are sorted and the new order is re-displayed. SortEvents will create 'ENV:THOR/SortEvents' when first used. This is used to indicate that Events have been sorted at least once during the current session. SortEvents works by reading the existing Events and rewriting them in the order given above. It will leave 'DEL' type Events in the Event lister when viewed from within Thor. Once all Events have been successfully dealt with, these will disappear. Credits: Thanks to Paul Gooch for reminding me of the problem, and to Remco Van Hooff for supplying valuable info on file attachments. A special thanks and apology goes to Arlé Mooldijk, who first highlighted the problem back in October last year. I'm sorry I didn't action this at the time. History V2.0 (20.2.97) SortEvents V2.0 can only be run from within Thor. Named changed to SortEvents.thor to reflect this. As a result, the script now uses Thor's requesters for user information. V1.1 (12.2.97) Beta tested only Fixed the problem with file attachments being incorrectly added to other Events. Added the path/filename of the attached file (or Up/Download file) alongside the Event type in the requesters - now you can see which Events have attachments, before and after sorting. V1.0 (3.9.96) Initial release
