This program can be used to play with artificial life forms.

Xlife-8 is a port of a known GoL program, Xlife.  However
it doesn't use any sources of Xlife.  It was initially made
for 8-bit computers but later it was expanded for 16- and
32-bit systems. Also included is a large collection of life
patterns - 206 to be precise.  Sources are also included.

Folder Xlife-8 must be placed in the root directory of any disk
which can be accessed using the following names DF0-DF3, DH0-DH3,
RAM, or RAD.  The other way is to use the XLF-device.  Just assign
a directory, which contains the Xlife-8 folder, to device XLF:.

Xlife-8 programs (`xlife' and `manpage') may be run from CLI or Workbench.
