Short: A tribute to Angie and Emily. Author: rch@blarg.net (Bob Harrington) Uploader: rch blarg net (Bob Harrington) Type: pix/art Architecture: generic BH_NewHorizons.jpg 500 x 600 JPEG image. This picture is my humble attempt to convey my sense of loss and sorrow, while at the same time expressing hope. In January of 1995, in the span of 4 days, I lost Angie, my soulmate of nine years, to a heart attack; and Emily, the 5 year-old daughter of family friends, to Leukemia. Each of these people was the very embodiment of love and courage, and are missed profoundly by every person who ever came in contact with them. Rainbows aren't as bright, and polka dots aren't as fun without you two! If you might, think of a donation of time or money to those organizations fighting so hard to put an end once and for all to these scourges to humanity. And go tell someone you love them... You never know when you might not get another chance... "Don't be dismayed at good-byes, a farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends." -Richard Bach, 'Illusions' email: rch@blarg.net mail: 1407 2nd Ave W #310 Seattle, WA 98119 USA
