Short: Image by Dave Matthews Author: dm05438@navix.net (Dave Matthews) Uploader: dm05438 navix net (Dave Matthews) Type: pix/art Architecture: generic Memory is a funny thing, we rely on it, in many ways it defines who we are. Yet our memories play tricks on us, and often what we "distinctly" remember is a distorted reflection of reality. This picture is my distorted reflection of a memory from my ill spent youth. Hardware used in creating this image: Eberhard Faber #2 HB lead pencil, Amiga 1200 w/ 68030/68882 @ 28MHz, 8 MB Fast Ram, 40MB HD (Ironically, given the picture title, my 1200--after long and faithful service--has developed fatal senesce nce, so this will probably be the last image created using the above hardware...well, the pencil still works, anyway) Software: Mead 9 x 12" newsprint, Digiview 4.0/Gold, TrueBrilliance, Photogenics 1.2. I started out with a sketch on newsprint, digitized it, and modified it heavily in True Brilliance and Photogenics. I took the fact of my Amiga 1200's demise as a sign the picture was done...and so, here it is. Dave Matthews dm05438@navix.net
